EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A man was arrested and charged with DWI after a deadly crash in northeast El Paso.
Officers arrested 18-year-old Jose Angel Hernandez Gallegos.

The crash happened on the 3900 block of Gateway North at the Cassidy exit on Sunday at 2 a.m.
Officials said Gallegos was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado at a high rate of speed.
Gallegos then lost control of the vehicle and struck a signal light.
His passenger, identified as 33-year-old Cesar Chavez Guillen, died from his injuries.

Gallegos was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle and intoxicated assault with a vehicle.
This is the 37th traffic fatality compared to 37 at the same time last year.
