An 18-year-old man was killed and another was injured in a shooting early Tuesday at a North Side apartment complex, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

The shooting occurred around 12:10 a.m. at the Woodhill Apartments in the 4900 block of Woodstone Drive, near Interstate 10 and Huebner Road, according to a preliminary police report.

Police said three suspects arrived in a Toyota 4Runner, got out and opened fire on two 18-year-old men who were standing outside the apartments. One was shot in the upper body and the other in the leg.

The suspects drove away in the Toyota. Investigators later found the SUV abandoned nearby and determined it had been stolen, according to the police report.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital, where the 18-year-old who was shot in the upper body was pronounced dead. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office will release his identity and determine his cause and manner of death.

Police have not identified the suspects, and no arrests have been made. The shooting remains under investigation.
