EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Gov. Greg Abbott will visit El Paso on Wednesday to meet with Texas families and taxpayers and announce a new initiative aimed at making public school districts more efficient and ensuring responsible use of taxpayer dollars.
The governor is scheduled to hold a roundtable discussion at noon in El Paso, according to his office.
During the event, Abbott is expected to discuss efforts to improve efficiency within Texas school districts and ensure taxpayer money is being used responsibly.
Details about the new initiative have not yet been released.
Abbott was in El Paso August 5th where he unveiled his initiative on a new affordability policy to help lower housing costs in Texas.
