SAN ANTONIO — A 59-year-old woman died after she was struck and pinned underneath a vehicle at a South Side home Tuesday morning.

The incident happened around 11:44 a.m. on Dorsey Drive near Moursund Boulevard.

Police said the woman was sitting in a metal chair between a fence and a Ford Expedition when a 58-year-old male driver attempted to leave. EMS pronounced her dead at 12:14 p.m.

There were no visible signs of criminal activity involving the driver, according to police.

The woman’s identity has not been released.
