All westbound lanes of State Highway 121 are shut down due to a crash that killed three people Tuesday morning, according to Fort Worth Police.
FORT WORTH, Texas — All westbound lanes of State Highway 121 were shut down Tuesday morning in Fort Worth due to a crash that killed three people, according to Fort Worth Police.
The crash happened just before 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in the westbound lanes of SH 121 near Riverside Drive, according to Fort Worth Police. Officers were notified that a Jeep was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes. One adult was driving the car, officials say.

Fort Worth Police say the vehicle driving the wrong way struck the back of a second vehicle with three occupants that attempted to move out of the way. No injuries were reported to the three occupants, officials say.
The Jeep continued driving and collided head-on with a third vehicle, identified as a four-door Sedan. The Sedan had four occupants inside, three adults and one child, police say.
Two adult females in the Sedan were pronounced dead on scene, officials say. The adult male and a child in the Sedan were transported to the hospital for their injuries and are expected to survive, Fort Worth Police say.
The driver of the Jeep was also pronounced deceased on scene. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will identify the deceased, according to officials.
Traffic was being diverted onto the service road near the Fairview exit, officials say. The road reopened around 7:30 a.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
