Dogs will take over the Dallas Zoo again in September and the zoo expects tickets to sell out quickly with only 350 spots available.
The zoo held its first Dog Days event in February, with two-legged and four-legged zoo-goers taking a designated route through the exhibits. Water stations were set up for the animals, along with relief areas.
To get into Dog Days, people need to pay for all the humans in your group, plus purchase $22 admission for your dog in advance. Tickets are available on the Dallas zoo website.
Dogs must be at least four months old, up to date on required vaccinations and will need to be kept on a six-foot non-retractable leash at all times. They also need to be friendly, and not aggressive toward other pets or people.
The zoo’s website says it will hold another Dog Days on Oct. 30, with tickets going on sale Oct. 1.
