This is the third matchup between the two programs, with each team defending its home field. BYU won the only matchup since joining the Big 12, handing the Red Raiders a 27-14 loss in Provo in 2023.
Texas Tech’s only loss this season was a wild 26-22 comeback by Arizona State in mid-October. The Red Raiders won their next two games by a combined score of 87-20.
BYU is one of four remaining unbeaten teams in FBS. They are joined by No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Indiana, and No. 3 Texas A&M.
