Chicago-style pizza often conjures the image of a sauce-heavy deep-dish pie, but for Crust Pizza Co., the term refers to tavern-style pizza with a thin, crunchy crust. The growing chain will soon bring its version of pizza to San Antonio, with two locations in the works for the Alamo City.
Crust Pizza Co. lists two upcoming San Antonio locations on its website. A Stone Oak location is set to open at 20135 Stone Oak Parkway, while an Alamo Ranch location is expected to open at 13503 Culebra Road. Both locations appear to be accepting online applications for prospective employees.
A project details page filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) provided more information about the Stone Oak location of Crust Pizza Co., which will be part of the Stone Oak Mercantile development, a $6.4 million shopping center that will also be home to other restaurants, such as Box St. All Day and Paris Baguette.
The filing said that the cost to build out the Crust Pizza Co. Stone Oak location is estimated to be around $400,000, and construction is expected to begin on November 20, 2026, and finish by May 15, 2027. The Crust Pizza Co. location going into Alamo Ranch appears to be part of a separate new business development known as Galm Crossing, which is reportedly being built on Culebra Road.
Crust Pizza Co. has been inching its way toward San Antonio for some time. The chain opened a location in Cibolo on October 4, 2025 and maintains restaurants in New Braunfels, Kyle and Bastrop.
