The Port Aransas City Council is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, Aug. 25, to discuss what the city’s budget is expected to look like and what the city’s tax rate should be for the upcoming year.
The council also will discuss other subjects at the meeting, which will start at 5 p.m.
While council meetings normally are held in council chambers at Port Aransas City Hall, this meeting will be in a break-out room in the Civic Center, adjacent to City Hall. The change in location is due to remodeling that’s happening at Council Chambers.
The Civic Center is in the 700 block of West Avenue A.
