TURKEY, Texas (KCBD) – The small town of Turkey, Texas has been without water since Thursday night.
The city says water was shut off at 10 p.m. Thursday night because of major repairs needed on the water tower, requiring it to be drained.
City officials said water could be restored Friday evening but cautioned it could be later tonight.
The city is providing drinking water at City Hall and was also trying to get water brought to Turkey.
A boil water notice is expected when water is eventually restored.
