EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Nightly closures for the Artcraft Project will continue starting Sunday, Aug. 23.
Those are among this week’s highlights of closures for road projects in the El Paso area.
There will also be a series of overnight closures on the Border Highway on Sunday, Aug. 23 and Monday, Aug. 24.
Artcraft Project
Sunday, Aug. 23 – Tuesday, Aug.25
9 p.m. – 6 a.m. (Nightly)
Artcraft westbound between Doniphan and Rio Grande River frontage road closed
Crews will be conducting high mast operations.
Sunday, Aug. 23 – Thursday, Aug. 27
9 p.m. – 6 a.m. (Nightly)
I-10 East and Westbound between Loop 375 (Transmountain) and Artcraft Rd full closure.
Crews will be conducting welding operations on steel girders.
Loop 375 Rehabilitation Project
Sunday, Aug. 23 – Monday, Aug. 24
8 p.m. – 6 a.m. (Nightly)
Loop 375 (Border Highway) eastbound between Shuster Ave and Fonseca full closure
Loop 375 (Border Highway) eastbound on-ramp coming from Paisano full closure
Loop 375 (Border Highway) eastbound on-ramp coming from US-54 full closure.
Loop 375 (Border Highway) west and eastbound between Fonseca and Oregon alternate lane closures
Crews will be working on milling, paving, and guardrail.

8 p.m. – 6 a.m. (Nightly)
Loop 375 (Border Highway) west and eastbound between Fonseca and Oregon alternate lane closures
Crews will be working on milling, paving, and installing guardrail.

Gateway West at Geronimo traffic intersection complete closure.

SH-20 (Doniphan) eastbound between Mesa/Country Club and Sunset right lane closed

US-54 southbound between Pershing and Montana right lane closed
Crews will be working on collecting pavement data.
Monday, Aug. 24– Friday, Aug. 28
9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Loop 375 (Transmountain) westbound between Tom Mays Park entrance and Paseo Del Norte right lane closed
Crews will be working on the shoulder.
Gateway East at Viscount alternate lane closure
Crews will be milling and paving.
Loop 375 (Border Highway) east and westbound between Padres and Fonseca alternate lane closures
Crews will be sweeping and cleaning intersections.
US-54 North between Loop 375 (Border Highway) and Alameda alternate lane closures
Crews will be working on sealing joints.
I-10 Landscape and Aesthetics Project

I-10 west right lane closure between Zaragoza Drive and Lee Trevino Drive
Crews will be sealing joints.
Purple Heart 375 Widening Project

Daily 5 a.m.- 5p.m.
Loop 375 north- and southbound alternating lane closure between Montana Avenue and Spur 601
Crews will be doing shoulder work.
