EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso County will host an overnight camping adventure at Ascarate Park on Sept. 26-27.
The Ascarate Park Campout Overnight Adventure will include nighttime fishing, a campfire for campers to enjoy and stargazing. Check-in is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 26, with checkout at 9 a.m. Sept. 27.
The event will be held at Ascarate Park, 6900 Delta Drive.
Admission is $10 for adults ages 18 to 59. Children, seniors and veterans can attend for $5.
Registration is open through Sept. 25 at the park’s administration building, open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Picnic shelters are also available to reserve starting at $50 per day. For more information, call the El Paso County Parks and Recreation Administrative Office at 915-273-3501.
