SAN ANTONIO — A 19-year-old was hospitalized after being shot early Sunday morning near downtown, according to San Antonio police.
Officers responded to the shooting around 12:44 a.m. in the 500 block of Live Oak Street near I-37.
When officers arrived, they found the woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her lower body.
Police said people at the location reported hearing gunshots and then noticed the woman had been struck.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Her condition is unknown.
No suspect information has been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
