Downtown San Antonio’s most well-known haunted house returns for the 2026 season with new terrifying experiences, attractions and scares.

The 13th Floor will reopen its doors at 1203 East Commerce Street on select nights from Sept. 12 through Nov. 8, including unveiling two distinct attractions, “Jason Universe: Survive The Night” and “Dose of Decay.” Tickets start at $19.99.

This Halloween season, San Antonians and visitors can come face-to-face with Jason Voorhees, the world’s most feared slasher from the Friday the 13th franchise in the “Jason Universe: Survive The Night” experience. But beware because he’s coming for you in this walkthrough haunted attraction, and you’ll feel his terrifying presence around each turn.

In “Dose of Decay,” a toxic chemical plague surrounds the city, and those unfortunate enough to breathe it in have devolved into twitching, violent beings roaming the streets. At the center of the story is The Pharmacist, a crazed chemist using the city as his personal testing grounds.

There are also additional features like Respawn Passes, where guests can skip the line, test their marksmanship at The Last of the Spinehelm: Zombie Shooting Range, grab the Secret Bar Combo Pack, or unwind outside at the Expedition Bar, two hidden speakeasies and local food trucks.

“We wanted to give San Antonio something wilder and more intense than ever before,” Blaine Skreenock, General Manager of 13th Floor San Antonio, said in a statement. “Getting to bring an absolute legend like the ‘Jason Universe’ into the mix alongside the pure chaos of ‘Dose of Decay,’ plus all our sound and set upgrades, means people are walking into a totally different level of scares the second they step inside.”

Also new this season is an interactive experience that lets guests decide how Jason attacks next — “Jason Universe: Director’s Cut.” A camp counselor leads your group into a cabin, where you’ll choose from four options: Panic, Slash, Strike or Stalk. Your choice controls Jason’s next move, putting you in the director’s chair for his next scene. The experience is available in very limited numbers each night, and participants will receive a limited-edition “Jason Universe: Director’s Cut” patch.
