The CBS4 Warn Weather team has issued a Weather Warn for Tuesday due to dangerous heat across the Borderland.
Afternoon temperatures are expected to climb to 105 degrees and above across El Paso, Las Cruces and surrounding communities.
Triple-digit temperatures will remain in the forecast through the entire week.
Take heat safety seriously by staying hydrated, wearing sunscreen and limiting time outdoors during the hottest part of the day. If you have to be outside, take frequent breaks in shaded or air-conditioned areas.
The heat will not be interrupted by much rainfall.
Only a very slight chance for rain is in the forecast Thursday, with most areas expected to stay dry.
