Burleson police said a chase ended in a shooting at the Sam’s Club in the city on Monday evening. Burleson Police said Burleson officers were not involved in the shooting.
Fort Worth police said Cleburne led the chase.
It’s unclear who was shot. NBC 5 has reached out to the Johnson County Sheriff, Cleburne, and Fort Worth police.
Fort Worth police told NBC 5 that an officer was taken to a hospital, but police did not say which hospital or how the officer was injured.
Police added there is no threat to the community, but they want people to avoid the area so they can investigate.
No further details were released.
