WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KCBD) – A Texas Tech law school alum will now serve as judge of the 245th Judicial District Court in Williamson County, north of Austin.
Jason Bramow was appointed on Monday by Governor Greg Abbott.
Bramow currently serves as deputy general counsel in the governor’s office.
He previously served in other state counsel positions, including assistant district attorney at the Lubbock County District Attorney’s Office.
Bramow received all three of his degrees, including his juris doctor, from Texas Tech.
He was recently recognized by Tech’s law school for his career in public service and leadership.
His term as judge will start September 1.
