Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing is continuing its “Kindness in the Air” initiative in the San Antonio market by spotlighting San Antonio Humane Society, a local nonprofit dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of dogs and cats across Bexar County and surrounding communities.
Since 1952, San Antonio Humane Society has been a trusted resource for pets and families by providing shelter, care, adoption, rescue, spay/neuter programs, and community education. As a no-kill organization, San Antonio Humane Society works to give treatable pets the time, medical care, and support they need until they can find a loving home or necessary placement with another no-kill organization.
Many of the dogs and cats in their care have been injured, surrendered by their owners, or found as strays. All of them simply need a second chance at living life to the fullest. Through compassionate care, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and adoption services, San Antonio Humane Society helps pets move from uncertainty to stability while connecting families with new companions.
The organization’s work also extends beyond adoption. Through spay-and-neuter programs, humane education, and community outreach, San Antonio Humane Society helps address pet overpopulation and encourages responsible pet ownership. The organization’s education efforts help teach compassion, empathy, and respect for animals, people, and the community.
