The winning ticket was purchased in Ingleside, about 18 miles northeast of Corpus Christi, at EZ Market, 2156 State Highway 361, according to the Texas Lottery. The winner chose to remain anonymous.
An Ingleside resident claimed the first top prize winning ticket of six in $1,000,000 Crossword. Texas Lottery reports the $20 scratch-off game offers more than $222 million in total prizes and the overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.41, including break-even prizes.
A $10,000 bonus might be available to the retailer for selling the prize-winning ticket, as part of the Texas Lottery’s Retailer Bonus Program.
