The winning $1,000,000 Crossword ticket was sold at EZ Market on State Highway 361 in Ingleside.
INGLESIDE, Texas — Someone in Ingleside is $1 million richer after hitting the top prize on a Texas Lottery scratch ticket.
The Texas Lottery announced Wednesday that an Ingleside resident claimed a $1 million prize from the $1,000,000 Crossword scratch ticket game.
The winning ticket was purchased at EZ Market, located at 2156 State Highway 361 in Ingleside. The winner chose to remain anonymous.
According to the Texas Lottery, this is the first of six $1 million top prizes to be claimed in the game.
The $1,000,000 Crossword game offers more than $222 million in total prizes. The overall odds of winning any prize are one in 3.41, including prizes that equal the cost of the ticket.
EZ Market could also receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket through the Texas Lottery’s Retailer Bonus Program.
