By the end of this post, you’re probably going to say, “Oh hell yeah!”
We’re pretty confident you’re going to like our latest Halloween creation.
We haven’t exactly made it a rule that FMX has to come up with a new shirt every Halloween, but somehow it happens more years than not. And really, that’s kind of the fun of it. We never know what we’re going to come up with until we start messing around with ideas.
Over the years, we’ve had several different versions of the classic FMX Spot.
There was the Pumpkin Spot, which has shown up in a few different forms.

Last year, we unleashed the Frankenspot, and that one turned out pretty damn cool.

We also took a run at a ghost version, but no matter what we did, we couldn’t quite get it where we wanted it. This year, we even played around with turning the Spot into a full moon with a witch on a brook in silhouette. We liked the idea, but we weren’t convinced the artwork would translate very well to a shirt.
Then the light bulb went off.
Meet The FMX Hellion Spot
I started thinking about those really old-school Halloween costumes. Before every movie character and superhero had a costume hanging in Walmart, Halloween was a little simpler.
You were a clown, a witch, a ghost, or a devil.
And there it was.
The FMX Hellion Spot was born.
We took the rough concept to our friends at Advanced Graphics, and they cleaned it up, sharpened the details and turned our idea into something we think absolutely belongs on a shirt.

And yes, there’s a reason we called it the Hellion.
A hellion is basically a rascal or troublemaker, which seems pretty appropriate for FMX. The finished design has a little old-school rock-and-roll attitude to it. You might catch an AC/DC kind of vibe, or maybe even a little influence from hot-rod artist Coop.
Whatever you see in it, we just think it’s fun, cool, slightly dangerous-looking and just inappropriate enough.
In other words, it’s us.

The FMX Hellion Spot shirts are in production right now, and we’re going to be putting them in the hands of FMX listeners very soon.
So keep listening for your chance to score one.
We’d tell you more, but where’s the fun in that?
Besides, we think we just heard you say it.
Hell yeah!
