LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Goodwill Industries of Northwest Texas is celebrating the grand opening of a new Pathways to Success retail store and career resource center in east Lubbock.
The new center is located at 510 North University. It combines a Goodwill store with a career resource center, offering free job training, digital skills classes and financial literacy to help residents overcome barriers to work and build long-term stability.
A key piece of the project is a youth internship program with Lubbock ISD and Estacado High School, where students are already working paid internships at the store while earning high school credit and leadership training.
