SAN ANTONIO — A man was hospitalized after police said a 79 year-old man stabbed him at an East Side apartment complex early Thursday morning.
The incident happened just after 3 a.m. in the 1800 block of Lamar Street near Hudson Street.
According to San Antonio police, a 41 year-old man was looking for someone at the complex when an older man approached him, saying he did not belong there.
The victim said the suspect attacked him with a sharp edged knife. The victim then ran out of the building, leaving a blood trail across the parking lot.
He sustained a minor injury to his upper body and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police detained the suspect at the scene. The investigation remains ongoing.
