Louicius Deedson, who represented Haiti at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, was permanently transferred Thursday from FC Dallas to FC Sochaux‑Montbéliard of France’s Ligue 2.
The 25‑year‑old scored once in nine appearances for Dallas after joining the club last summer.
From 2019 to 2025, he played at two clubs in the Danish league (Hobro IK and Odense Boldklub), totaling 135 appearances and 34 goals.
Deedson delivered the goal that sent Haiti to its first World Cup in 52 years. His early strike against Nicaragua in the CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers set the tone for a 2–0 victory. Combined with the 0–0 draw between Costa Rica and Honduras, Haiti clinched its first World Cup berth since 1974.
Placed in Group C with Brazil, Morocco, and Scotland, Haiti did not advance past the group stage.
Deedson made his international debut in 2021 against Belize during the CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers.
According to Transfermarkt, Deedson’s market value on the day of his transfer to FC Sochaux‑Montbéliard was $1.2 million.
