From 4 to 6 p.m Sunday at Dr. Jeckyll’s Beer Lab in Pantego, Texas, people have a chance to take home new green friends in an ’80s-themed plant bingo. Tickets are available online starting at $30.87.
Celebrate Arlington’s 150th anniversary with a splash from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Dogs, Ducks and Dives event at the Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center or the Bad Königshofen Family Aquatic Center. Attendees can enjoy some summer fun before the season ends and buy hot dogs for $1.50. A rubber duck sporting Arlington’s 150th anniversary logo will also be available while supplies last.
Take a deep breath and relax at 9 a.m. Sunday at The Gardens Texas in Arlington. Arlington Yoga Center invites residents to stretch out and connect with nature. A local pop-up matcha vendor, Noricha Matcha, will serve refreshing drinks. A spot in the session can be booked online for $20.
Enjoy River Legacy Nature Center’s Creature Features, which is showcasing turtles this month. Participants can learn about the turtles’ lifestyle, history and unique adaptations. The English session is from 2 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, and the Spanish session is from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Registration is required.
Music
Enjoy soulful tunes at 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday at Truth Vinyl in downtown Arlington. Local jazz musicians play as residents dine and connect with fellow music lovers. The event is free.
Sports
See the Texas Rangers take to the diamond against the Athletics at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday at Globe Life Field. Tickets start at around $14, and the doors open at 5:05 p.m.
