SAN ANTONIO – A resident has been displaced after unattended food caused a kitchen fire late Thursday night.
The fire occurred around 10:30 p.m. at the Fred townhomes near Dartbrook Drive and Fredericksburg Road.
According to Bexar County Fire, unattended food caused the cabinets and stove to catch fire. When firefighters arrived, black smoke was billowing out the front door.
No injuries were reported during the fire, but one resident of the townhome has been displaced.
