EL PASO, Texas. – Three students are in hospitals and one suspect is in custody after a stabbing attack at Americas High School in El Paso, Texas.
El Paso County Sheriff Oscar Ugarte said the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation with help from the Texas Rangers and the Socorro Independent School District Police Department.
Ugarte said three students went to local hospitals for treatment of stab wounds. He said all three victims were in “stable condition,” but with no further elaboration.
Ugarte said deputies had one suspect in custody.
