The hotel will officially open in Craig Ranch on Nov. 15
McKinney’s Craig Ranch area is getting another place to stay, and travelers can already put it on their calendars. AC Hotel McKinney by Marriott is now accepting reservations, with Nov. 15 listed as the first bookable date.
The five-story hotel will bring 137 rooms, including eight suites, to the Hub 121 development as the area continues to grow into a destination for business, dining, entertainment and weekend stays.
Managed by Peachtree Hospitality Group, the hotel is designed around the clean, minimalist style associated with the AC Hotels brand.
What To Expect Inside
The hotel’s 137 guestrooms are joined by a collection of dining and gathering spaces. Mornings start at AC Kitchen, which serves a European-inspired breakfast. Later, guests can head to AC Lounge for cocktails and tapas-style small plates or visit Good & Proper Wood Fired Bistro, the hotel’s fifth-floor restaurant featuring contemporary American dishes with Texas influences.
There’s also a fitness center, outdoor pool and patio, nearly 3,000 square feet of meeting and event space and a 24-hour AC Store for those late-night or early-morning essentials.
“We’re excited to welcome guests to AC Hotel McKinney and introduce a hospitality experience that blends purposeful design, elevated service and an exceptional location,” said Craig Barnett, general manager of AC Hotel McKinney. “Whether visiting for business or a weekend getaway, we’ve thoughtfully designed every aspect of the hotel to provide a seamless and comfortable stay, complemented by versatile spaces for meetings, events and gatherings, all while connecting guests to the best of McKinney.”
A New Stay In The Heart Of Hub 121
The hotel sits within Hub 121, putting guests close to several of McKinney’s major destinations, including McKinney Corporate Center, Globe Life’s corporate headquarters, the Credit Union of Texas Event Center and Watters Creek Village.
That location makes the property particularly convenient for corporate travelers, while also giving visitors a base for exploring McKinney and the wider Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Its arrival also adds another piece to the ongoing development of Craig Ranch, where hotels, restaurants, offices and entertainment venues continue to change the character of the area.
More Plans For Craig Ranch
The AC Hotel won’t be the only major hospitality project coming to Craig Ranch. The JW Marriott Resort McKinney Craig Ranch is expected to break ground in 2027. The luxury resort is planned to include 290 rooms, more than 51,000 square feet of conference space, multiple restaurants, a lazy river, pickleball courts and direct access to TPC Craig Ranch.
For now, the AC Hotel McKinney is getting there first. Reservations are open at www.marriott.com, with stays beginning Nov. 15.
