SAN ANTONIO – A wildfire has broken out in Edwards County, west of Rocksprings. It is called the Whitetail Fire.
The fire is currently 300 acres and 0% contained.
It was initially reported just before 5pm Friday.
Lightning from an isolated thunderstorm in this area could be responsible.
The fire appears to be on the Texas WhiteTail Ranch, a hunting preserve.
