Sweet Stacks in Fort Worth was basically an instant hit, drawing hours-long lines with its viral souffle pancakes.
Now, after less than a year open, the restaurant is expanding from it Magnolia Avenue location in Fort Worth to a new spot in Frisco, according to an Instagram post from the business.
The Fort Worth location is known for its Japanese-style souffle pancakes, which are tall, ultra-fluffy, cloud-like cakes made with stiff meringue. Sweet Stacks offers toppings like chocolate and banana, matcha and fruit. But the restaurant also sells Thai and Lao dishes, including fried rice and noodles. Of course, no viral restaurant would be complete without an extensive matcha menu, too.
Their Fort Worth restaurant is located at 1515 W. Magnolia Ave. Sweet Stacks is open from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily, except Monday
The business is bringing all of that to Frisco, with a new location at 252 W Stonebrook Pkwy #640. The second location is in its soft-opening phase. Hours are every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
