HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) – A man has been arrested after a 16-year-old girl who had been reported as a runaway was found being trafficked at a Harris County motel, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
Deputies responded Thursday to a motel in the 17100 block of North Freeway, where they located the teen. Investigators learned she was being trafficked, according to the sheriff’s office.
Danterius Reed, 23, was arrested and charged with promotion of prostitution. He was booked into the Harris County Jail.
