WOLFFORTH, Texas (KCBD) –
Lubbock-Cooper Liberty picked up where they left off last season, as they opened the year with a 49-14 win at Frenship Memorial.
Early scores from Talon Wilcox and Pierce Fioroni set the tone for the Patriots. This was also the QB debut for Cy Leach, who is replacing Colton Bichard.
Next week, the Patriots will look for another win against the Panthers’ FISD counterparts, the Frenship Tigers- who blew out Lubbock Cooper 50-17 . Memorial will continue to seek out its first win in varsity competition next week in a contest against 4A power West Plains.
