CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Louisiana fugitive wanted on felony charges in four jurisdictions was arrested overnight at a Corpus Christi motel, according to the Nueces County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office.
Precinct 5 deputies requested assistance from Corpus Christi police Wednesday evening after receiving information that the fugitive could be in the area.

CCPD patrol officers later located the suspect’s vehicle at a motel near Leopard and Lantana streets, according to the constable’s office.
Officers with CCPD’s Violent Crimes Unit and Gang Unit joined patrol officers and Precinct 5 deputies in taking 44-year-old Lenny Mize into custody, deputies said.
The constable’s office said Mize had outstanding felony warrants from four Louisiana jurisdictions on charges including burglary, identity theft, aggravated battery and bank fraud.
Deputies said Mize was found with several firearms and other suspected stolen property. One of the firearms had been reported stolen from Houston, according to the constable’s office.
Mize now faces an additional charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Other charges are pending, the constable’s office said.
