EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Saturday morning: 150 military personnel participated in one of the largest single-day volunteer efforts organized by El Pasoans Fighting Hunger.
Fort Bliss Garrison Commander Col. Michael Soyka and El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Interim CEO Kris Yagel welcomed the volunteers before work began.
The volunteers worked throughout the morning at El Pasoans Fighting Hunger, helping prepare food and assemble boxes for seniors and other neighbors facing hunger across the region.
