WOODROW, Texas (KCBD) – The Frenship Tigers can finally shake off their frustration from last year’s defeat as they dominated the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates 50-17 Friday night in Woodrow.
Frenship QB James Ordonez was successful in his debut as he opened the contest finding WR Zade McClure for the first two scores. He also connected with Noah Gonzales for another Tiger score.
Next Friday, the Tigers (1-) will look for their second win as they host the Pirates’ LCISD counterpart, Lubbock Cooper Liberty- who defeated Frenship Memorial 49-14.
Lubbock-Cooper will host a talented Midland Greewood squad. who topped Tuscola Jim Ned 39-12.
