SAN ANTONIO — A man was arrested after police say he fired a gun toward a woman during an argument on the city’s East Side, then fled the area. No injuries were reported.
The incident happened at approximately 2:52 a.m. on Sunday, in the 6100 block of Interstate 10 East.
SAPD said the man and woman became involved in an argument before the man retrieved a weapon and fired in the woman’s direction. He then left the scene in a vehicle.
Police later found the vehicle and attempted to stop the driver. SAPD said the man continued driving before eventually fleeing on foot.
He was later found and taken into custody without further incident.
The man was arrested on charges of discharging a firearm within a municipality, evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, and possession of narcotics.
No injuries were reported.
