Optimum completes USD 6 mln network upgrade in Lubbock, Texas
US operator Optimum has completed a USD 6 million network upgrade in Lubbock, Texas, to provide customers with faster, more reliable connectivity. The upgrade involved building an around 100-mile fibre ring to power the backbone of the local network. Optimum is also supporting local community groups, including providing the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lubbock with a USD 5,000 technology grant to upgrade its computer lab; and Bayless Elementary school with a USD 10,000 grant to support STEM learning.
