Even better, there’s a chance to win $2,000 in United Supermarkets gift cards while supporting a Lubbock organization that’s been helping local children for more than two decades.
FosterALife and United Supermarkets are teaming up for a special raffle with TWO $2,000 grand prizes.
And only 1,000 raffle tickets will be sold.

The drawing will be held Saturday, September 26th, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the United Supermarkets location at 6313 4th Street in Lubbock.
There will be two grand-prize drawings, with each winner receiving $2,000 in United Supermarkets gift cards.

The fundraiser benefits FosterALife, which works with children involved with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services throughout Lubbock County and 17 surrounding counties.
FosterALife Has Been Helping West Texas Kids Since 2004
Founded by Dr. Shaun Keel in 2004, FosterALife is celebrating its 22nd anniversary this year!
The organization’s mission is to provide assistance, services and opportunities that might otherwise be unavailable to children who have experienced abuse, neglect or abandonment.
That includes kids currently involved with DFPS as well as young people who have aged out of foster care, have been adopted or continue receiving DFPS services.
And some of the programs are things you might never think about.
From Suitcases to Prom Dresses
Journey Gear provides children with actual suitcases for their belongings so they don’t have to move from place to place carrying their possessions in trash bags.
The Prom Expo helps provide dresses, shoes and accessories so kids can enjoy one of those big high-school experiences.

The Hope Chest helps young adults who’ve graduated from high school get started with basic household necessities like dishes, bedding and microwaves.
There’s also a Happy Birthday Program, created for children who may never have experienced someone making a big deal out of their birthday.
Kids Art Journey encourages children to explore their creativity through art, while Preston’s Purpose honors foster youth whose lives were cut short before they had the opportunity to discover their own purpose.

Two people will walk away with $2,000 apiece in United gift cards.
