The long-rumored return of Texas to the Players Era Women’s Basketball Showcase was confirmed on Monday. Texas will play Duke on Dec. 19 at the Michelob ULTRA Arena and then face UCLA the following day.
Texas is coming off a season in which it went 35-4 and reached the Final Foul. UCLA is the NCAA’s defending champion while Duke won 27 games last season. South Carolina, Notre Dame and USC will also compete in the Players Era showcase.
