EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Alleged member of the West Texas Chango Tango gang was captured last week in Northeast El Paso.
Joe Adam Alderete, who was wanted by law enforcement, was found at an apartment complex in the 9600 block of McCombs Street on August 25 after the El Paso County Constable’s Office, Precinct 3, received information about the “wanted offender.”
According to authorities, Alderete was wanted on two convictions for assault family violence convictions and for violating his parole. He was reportedly accused of stalking.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit jointed the operation to apprehend the 36-year-old.
Authorities took Alderete into custody after confirming he was inside one of the apartments. He was booked on the outstanding warrants.
