A section of Holly Road between Toben Drive and Rodd Field Road will be closed through Oct. 16 as crews continue work on a reclaimed water pipeline.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Drivers who use Holly Road will need to find another route beginning Thursday as construction continues on a major reclaimed water pipeline project.
The City of Corpus Christi said Holly Rd. will be closed between Toben Dr. and Rodd Field Road beginning Thursday, Sept. 3. The closure is expected to remain in place through Friday, Oct. 16.

People who live or work along the affected stretch will still be able to access their homes and businesses during construction, according to the city. Nearby residents and businesses have been notified.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes, watch for workers and construction equipment, and follow posted signs in the area.
The work is part of a larger project to build a reclaimed water pipeline connecting the city’s Oso Water Reclamation Plant to the Greenwood Water Reclamation Plant.
Once completed, the pipeline will provide reclaimed water for Valero. The company will build its own infrastructure to use the water.
The project is designed to reduce Valero’s demand for drinking water supplies while helping Corpus Christi conserve its potable water reserves.
