SAN ANTONIO — Authorities are seeking tips in the murder of a 21-year-old man at a West Side apartment complex one year later.
Investigators say Aaron Collins was at his apartment around 1:23 a.m. on Sept. 1, 2025, when a silver four-door Mercedes was seen waiting to enter the apartment complex before meeting with him.
Collins was then chased around the building by a suspect and shot in the chest, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect fled in the silver Mercedes, which was described as having an illuminated front emblem and damage to its rear driver-side bumper, possibly a hole. Investigators said the Mercedes was accompanied by a white single-cab GMC pickup truck.
