“Landman” will return to Fort Worth soon.
The Paramount+ series wrapped up its second season earlier this year and is coming back for a third go-around. The show is primarily filmed in and around Fort Worth, including in downtown, at the Stockyards and in the AllianceTexas area.
In a recent conversation about “Lioness,” actor James Jordan confirmed to the Star-Telegram when “Landman” returns to Fort Worth for season 3 filming.
Jordan appears in both shows, as Two Cups in “Lioness” and as Dale in “Landman.” Here’s what he said.

Here’s when ‘Landman’ starts filming season 3
“Landman” will start filming this month.
“Just after Labor Day, that’s the plan,” Jordan said.
For its first two seasons, “Landman” targeted a November premiere.
It’s unclear if the show will hit that November date this year, since filming is expected to continue into early next year. Nevertheless, Jordan said they’re going to hit the ground running.
“We’re getting right to work on it,” Jordan said. “We know people want to see it, so we’re going to get right to work and get it out as soon as we can.”

“Landman” is described as a “modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of West Texas oil rigs.”

Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Demi Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble – it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break,” the show’s second season synopsis reads.
In addition to the previously mentioned cast, “Landman” stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Sam Elliott, Ali Larter, Andy Garcia, Paulina Chávez, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Kayla Wallace, Colm Feore and Mark Collie.
Both seasons of “Landman” are streaming on Paramount+.
