Corpus Christi police said officers contacted more than 100 people and issued several citations during the weekend operation.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Five people were arrested, and several others were cited during a weekend nighttime enforcement effort at Cole Park, according to Corpus Christi police.
Police said officers contacted 108 people during the operation. They made five arrests, issued 11 citations, and conducted five traffic stops.
The arrests involved outstanding warrants, drug possession, and public intoxication, according to police.
Authorities did not release the names of those arrested or a breakdown of how many arrests were connected to each offense.
Officers also issued three citations to people accused of fishing without a license.
Corpus Christi police said several teams took part in the operation along with Texas Parks and Wildlife officers.
