Reagan football players help support families and children in need

SAN ANTONIO – This week we salute two schools whose community projects demonstrate ‘Beyond the Game’ values.

Reagan High School Football gave back to the community at the Children’s Hunger Fund. These student-athletes stepped up to serve, working together to help support families and children in need. It’s about recognizing an opportunity to help others and stepping up to make a difference, proving that the impact of a team can reach far beyond the game.

East Central High School Basketball put teamwork and service into action. Partnering with Blueprint Ministries, 19 members of the team spent their Saturday working a hands-on community construction project, using their time, energy, and teamwork to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

These athletes demonstrated the ‘Beyond the Game’ values of integrity, respect, teamwork, excellence and community service.
