EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Two people were hurt– one teenager suffered serious injuries– Wednesday morning after a crash involving an all-terrain vehicle out in El Paso County near Sparks.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, at around 9:06 a.m., deputies responded to the 13500 block of Timothy Drive (near I-10) after a crash involving a blue Yamaha ATV.
The Sheriff’s Office said the ATV was going west on a dirt road, going fast, when it went over a dirt berm, causing the teen driver to lose control.

The driver was reported to have suffered serious injuries, while a passenger was suspected to have suffered minor injuries.
In a press release, Sheriff Oscar Ugarte said the crash should serve as a reminder that these types of vehicles pose a risk and people should exercise caution.

The Special Traffic Investigators are investigating the crash.
