SAN ANTONIO – A woman is being sought after police say she shot her boyfriend early Thursday morning on the West Side.
The shooting took place around 5:30 a.m. at a home off North Sabinas Street near Interstate 10.
Police said the man, believed to be in his 20s, was shot in the hip and grazed in the head. He was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Police said the man’s girlfriend drove off after the shooting and had not been found.
Investigators were talking with the victim and a possible witness in hopes of getting a description of the vehicle she may have been driving.
It was not immediately clear what led to the shooting or whether it happened inside or outside a nearby duplex.
The investigation is ongoing.
