EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A 14-year-old was found with stab wounds as El Paso police responded to a barricaded person situation involving a woman in her 40s, authorities said.
According to the El Paso Police Department, a SWAT standoff unfolded in a residential neighborhood near Canutillo after officers were called to a reported stabbing on Wednesday evening.
Police said a 14-year-old boy was found with stab wounds and transported to the hospital.
Three other juveniles were involved, including one boy and two girls, police said.
Police have not released additional details about the condition of the 14-year-old, the extent of the injuries, or what led up to the incident.
According to the EPPD, at around 10:20 p.m., police made entry into the house and took a woman into custody.
The woman will be charged with aggravated assault, police said.
The woman will also be taken to the hospital to check on her condition.

According to the El Paso Police, officers responded to the 400 block of Nordstrom to a report of a stabbing. The call came in at 5:47 pm, police said.
According to the El Paso Fire Department, one person was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
