Part of Interstate 30 in west Fort Worth was shut down for a short time early Thursday, Sept. 3, due to a crash involving a motorcycle, officials say.
A crash involving a motorcycle shut down part of Interstate 30 in west Fort Worth on Thursday morning and injured one man, officials said. The highway has since reopened.
Officers responded to the westbound lanes of I-30 near Green Oaks Road about 6:50 a.m., according to the 911 call sheet. A motorcycle and another vehicle had been involved in an accident.
Fort Worth Fire EMS was also dispatched to the scene and took the injured man to the hospital, according to Fire Department spokesperson Craig Trojacek. The man was in stable condition, and his injuries are not life-threatening.
The westbound lanes of I-30 at Ridgmar Boulevard were closed for a short time while the crash was being cleared. The interstate had reopened by 7:45 a.m.
