The team behind Cafe Olivia is bringing a smaller version of the concept, called Cafe Olivita, to Plano next month.
Café Olivia, a Downtown Dallas cafe with a cult following, is opening a smaller-format concept called Café Olivita next month at Park Center in West Plano.
The 2,335-square-foot space will occupy a suite on the ground floor of the five-story office building near Willow Bend. Seating only 67 guests, the concept will be open to tenants of the building and the public.
Café Olivita is the third location for On Brand Hospitality’s Torry Cray and Adrian Verdin.
“Café Olivita is a smaller-format expression of Café Olivia that allows us to bring our chef-driven approach into office communities in a way that feels intentional and elevated,” Verdin said. “We wanted to create a space that serves the everyday needs of the office community while still offering the quality, hospitality, design and food that our guests have come to expect from Café Olivia.”
The menu will feature Café Olivia dishes like the Rising Pig, a breakfast sandwich with egg, rosemary ham, caramelized onions, aged white cheddar and black garlic aioli ($17), or the Oaxaca Mornings, a sandwich with egg, chorizo, OAX cheese, pickled red onions, Valentina aioli, flour tortilla and potatoes ($15).
Wallace Johnson Studio designed the new space with a coastal Mediterranean-inspired interior.
“Café Olivita is the centerpiece of the reimagined office experience at 2400 Dallas Parkway,” Jeff Patman said on behalf of the Shaddock ownership team.
Café Olivita will be located at 2400 Dallas Parkway, Suite 140. Once open, hours will be 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday. An exact opening date has not yet been announced.
